Why silence is so golden

-

SEEING as it’s international break, how about a couple of early contenders for end-of-season awards.

Most baffling sight? It has to be those Manchester United tourist fans who stayed behind at Old Trafford after the defeat by Spurs to beg the man who had just sunk their side, Lucas Moura, to take a smiling selfie.

Most baffling sound? The one of silence from Neil Warnock (above). Four winless games in, the Cardiff boss has yet to whine at a referee, as he’s realised that “life’s too short” to spend it moaning. Leading to a sentence you never thought you’d read. Serena Williams should give Warnock a ring for anger management advice.
