Sushi’s a raw deal for Brits

HALF of Brits have never had the guts to try sushi, a survey claims.

Diners in Liverpool are the least likely to have sampled the Japanese dish, followed by those in Portsmouth and Norwich.

Edinburgh has the most adventurous eaters according to the survey of 2,000 people for Yo! Sushi.

Luisa Fernandez, from the restaurant chain, said: “Sushi is so much more than raw fish.”

The poll also shows one in five can’t poach an egg.
