The boss

of the plus-size clothing firm N Brown is quitting, months after announcing plans to close all of its 20 highstreet stores.

Angela Spindler is to step down at the end of September.

Chairman Matt Davies said: “We recognise that now is an appropriate time to search for a new leader who can take the business forward through the next phase of its development.”
