BRITAIN’S Simon Yates is closing in on overall victory in the Vuelta a Espana.

With just two competitive stages left, Yates holds a 25-second advantage over Spain’s Alejandro Valverde.

Ahead of today’s stage, featuring a 10-mile climb of Rabassa in Andorra, he said: “The next two days will be decisive.”
