Hoarders build no-deal stores
FAMILIES are stockpiling food and medicine as fears grow about a no-deal Brexit.
Parents have told how they have been adding basic medicines and non-perishables to their weekly shop to build a Brexit hoard.
Mum Muiri U posted: “I’ve been stockpiling since 2017 and learning to grow my own potatoes too. My friends thought I was mad at first but think they’re starting to do the same.”
Dad Robert posted: “We are storing non-perishables. Anything that is cheap and has a relatively long shelf life.”
Businesses are set to stockpile £38billion worth of goods ahead of March 2019.
