Ronnie’s in the money
RONNIE O’SULLIVAN became snooker’s first £10million man with a brilliant defence of his Shanghai Masters crown last night.
The Rocket pocketed the £200,000 first prize with a high-class 11-9 victory over world No.7 Barry Hawkins.
That took five-time world champion O’Sullivan’s career prize money over the eight-figure mark – a figure not reached even by Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis.
O’Sullivan said: I’ve so many trophies at home – the first one is very special but now it is more about experiences.”
RYAN Fitzpatrick threw for 402 yards and four touchdowns, as the Buccaneers upset Super Bowl champions Philadelphia 27-21 in Tampa Bay.
It was the second successive week that the Bucs quarterback had notched four TDs, after last week’s 48-40 win over the New Orleans Saints.
Fitzpatrick (above), who threw all his TD passes in the first three quarters to inflict the Eagles’ first defeat of the season, is filling in for injured first-choice QB Jameis Winston.
