Snub cues a Baill-out

- BY JOHN CROSS

ERIC BAILLY could be ready to quit Manchester United in January. Bailly has been relegated to the substitutes’ bench which has put both Spurs and Arsenal on red alert. The North London clubs are watching developments closely and are keen on United’s Ivory Coast international. Bailly, 24, who joined United for £30million in 2016, appears to have been blamed by Jose Mourinho for last month’s defeat at Brighton. While others have been forgiven, Bailly was dropped for United’s next game against Tottenham and just a late substitute at Burnley and Watford. It could leave Bailly with a decision to make if he is frozen out by Mourinho.
