Newlywed’s horror death fall on icy hill
TRAGEDY Stephen Keane PLAYING the Joker is clearly no laughing matter for Joaquin Phoenix, judging by these pictures.
The glum shots are the first glimpse of the 43-year-old star in Warner Bros’ movie about the story behind Batman’s villain.
It is yet to be titled but Hangover director Todd Phillips revealed the Joker is called Arthur.
It is rumoured his surname is Fleck, meaning he would be A Fleck, similar to current Batman star Ben Affleck.
Joaquin is no doubt working on perfecting the criminal’s maniacal grin, first displayed in chilling fashion by Cesar Romero in the original series.
