PACK PARK THE BUSSEY

- BY GARETH WALKER

TORONTO WOLFPACK forward Jack Bussey has been stood down by the club as he faces a lengthy bite ban.

The ex-Featherstone and London player (right) has been handed a grade F charge for the alleged offence, which occurred in the 13th minute of Saturday’s Qualifiers win over Toulouse. TV replays appeared to show him biting the left ear of opposition centre Bastien Ader. If guilty, Bussey faces a minimum eight-match ban that could be extended and cover a period of time, should the RFL disciplinary panel see fit. The 26-year-old has also been handed a second grade B charge for use of the shoulder.
