Street stab OAP is jailed

A PENSIONER was jailed for eight years for stabbing a man he had rowed with.

After the altercation in Nottingham city centre, Roy Lowe, 72, bought a blade at a store and plunged it in his stomach.

Lowe, of Bulwell, Notts, admitted grievous bodily harm and possessing an offensive weapon.

After the case at Nottingham crown court, Det Sgt Andy Buxton said: “Injuries were not lifethreatening, it could easily have been much worse.”
