HUGH & CRY REWARDED

-

CHRIS HUGHTON turned on the hairdryer at half-time at Southampton. Striker Glenn Murray, 34 (below), whose late penalty rescued a point, revealed: “The manager tells us in no uncertain terms when we deserve it – and we deserved it. “He can give the hairdryer when he needs to and this was one of the nights he did. We came in at half-time and knew from one to 11 we weren’t good enough. “We needed a reaction and came out, ran around a little bit more, pressed higher and were a little bit braver. The first half was very poor but thankfully we got a reaction in the second half.”
