FURY ‘CASHING IN HIS CHIPS’

- BY DAVID ANDERSON

TYSON FURY has been warned he will blow his chance of ever fighting Anthony Joshua if he loses to Deontay Wilder.

Fury and WBC heavyweight champ Wilder are set to announce they will clash on December 1, probably in Las Vegas.

Promoter Eddie Hearn suspects Fury (above) is cashing in because he is not ready for the step back up to world level.

And he says he will have no box-office value for Joshua if he is beaten. “If Fury gets beat, he’s done,” said Hearn. “If Fury gets knocked out in that fight, the AJ fight will never happen.

“I don’t think there’s any doubt that he’s cashing out.

“He’s smart enough to know in his mind that he’s nowhere near ready. He’s smart enough to know he’s not match-fit for Deontay Wilder.

“Maybe he’s just turned round and said ‘I’m training my nuts off here. This is my big payday’.”
