Lyon spring City shock

Arteta, linked with the Arsenal job in the summer, threw on Sergio Aguero (above), Leroy Sane and Riyad Mahrez in a vain bid to rescue the game.

City’s next Champions League tie is at Hoffenheim on October 2, when Guardiola will be back on the touchline.
