- BY CHRISTOPHER BUCKTIN US Editor

BRITISH schoolgirl Courtney Hadwin missed out on being crowned the winner of America’s Got Talent – sparking a revolt among US fans.

Despite being a favourite to win, the 14-year-old from Hesleden, County Durham, unexpectedly finished in sixth place after her duet on Take Another Little Piece of My Heart.

When magician Shin Lim won the competition, America’s Good Housekeeping magazine called it “one of the most shocking results ever on the show”.

Viewer Faith Santana tweeted the series was “rigged” before adding: “I say we revolt. Retweet if you’ll revolt with me.”

Judge Simon Cowell told Courtney “people are going to remember you”.
