Killer woman with ‘Snapchat obsession’ gets 14yrs

Fatima Khan, 21, had captioned the footage of Khalid Safi, 18, dying: “This is what happens when you f*** with me.”

Judge Michael Topolski said it was “difficult to over-emphasise” Snapchat’s importance in Khan’s life. CRASH VICTIM Keira Ball He added: “It featured at every turn of this case as the tragic story at the centre of it unfolded.”

He said of her filming of Khalid: “It is hard to understand how anyone could act in such a callous and despicable way.”

Khan, of Ilford, East London, was convicted of manslaught­er in July. She wanted to dump Khalid and lured him to a meeting where he was stabbed in the heart by Raza Khan, 19. At the sentencing hearing at the Old Bailey yesterday her lawyer described her as an attention-seeker who had a “deeply unhealthy pathologic­al obsession” with Snapchat. The court heard that Khalid, from Afghanista­n, hid on a lorry crossing the Channel at the age of 13 after spending time in the Jungle refugee camp in Calais. He sought asylum, moved to London and had ambitions to become a mechanic.

The court was told Raza Khan is still on the run.
