Batman & Robin land prop that made Del a millionaire
TWO Only Fools and Horses fans turn up to an auction as Batman and Robin to buy an iconic prop from the series.
Mike Enright and Jason Baddams had the room in stitches, as Mike spent £34,720 to buy a copy of the watch that made Del Boy and Rodney millionaires.
Mike, 47, said: “I am a huge Only Fools fan. It is a lot of money but it is such a famous prop. You are never going to get another chance to buy it again.”
In the show it is spotted in their garage and turns out to be a rare Harrison Lesser Watch which sells for £6.2million. Three watches were made for the episode. Mike, 47, of Dudley, West Mids, bought the watch at Aston’s Auctioneers.
