Child mental health

Social media and technology companies such as Facebook should share responsibility for children’s mental health, NHS England’s chief executive has argued.

Simon Stevens said: “The conversation around young people’s mental health has got to be wider than what the NHS can do.

“This is certainly about schools, but we also have to ask searching questions around the role of technology companies and social media.”
