CHRIS LOOKING ON BRIGHT SIDE

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

CHRIS HUGHTON declared himself “reasonably happy” with Brighton’s start to the season – but urged his team to make the most of a run of favourable fixtures ahead. After their trip to Manchester City on Saturday, Brighton won’t face another member of last season’s top six until mid-December. Hughton’s side have picked up five points from six games having already faced Manchester United, Liverpool and now Spurs in a tricky opening. Hughton (left) said: “You’re always looking and thinking ‘are there any teams doing worse?’ and yes of course there are. “So overall I’ve been reasonably happy with some things but what we have to do is capitalise on a period when we play teams that are not in the top six.”
