Sugar blast at Hopkins: You made your bed, now lie in it
LORD Sugar hit out at ex-The Apprentice star Katie Hopkins as she teeters on the brink of bankruptcy, saying: “She’s made her bed and now she has to lie in it.”
The right-wing commentator, 43, filed for an Insolvency Voluntary Agreement this month after losing a six-figure libel case against celebrity chef Jack Monroe. Last year LBC took her off air after she called for a “final solution” over the Manchester Arena bombing. Mum-of-two Hopkins turned down a place in The Apprentice final in 2007, citing childcare issues. Yesterday Lord Sugar said of her money troubles: “She went a step too far. It’s one of life’s lessons. It might be a wake up call for her.”
