Parents plea for help with missing teen
THE parents of a student who went missing after a night out during university freshers’ week have made an emotional appeal for help to find their son.
Thomas Jones, 18, sent a photo to pals at 3.45am last Wednesday and called saying he was two minutes away – but never arrived.
Mum Vicki Jones, 53, and dad Ian, 50, said: “We’re going out of our minds. We have to keep retracing his steps.
“Anything, however small, might be the piece of the jigsaw that helps us.
“Please check any selfies that you have taken. Is Tom in the background?”
Thomas, from Bromsgrove, Worcs, had only moved to Worcester three days before to study.
Two men quizzed by police have been released.
