It’s been nice as pie but keep the eclairs

-

High point? I loved making a pie from scratch as I had never made one before. What would you cook to impress at a dinner party? The other night I made pork tacos with a fiery pineapple salsa and herb mayonnaise. Do your friends get nervous cooking for you? Possibly more so now but I’m not very intimidating to my friends. Is there anything you would never cook again? I wouldn’t be in a mad rush to cook choux pastry or eclairs again. What were your fears for the final? I’m up against two chefs who really know what they are doing. The winner is going to pull something really spectacular out of the bag... and all three of us really want it. Who are you closest to out of the other contestants? We all get along. Martin is a dream. It was very interesting to hear about him being in Harry Potter as Hagrid’s body double, and in Star Wars. Who was the most helpful, John or Gregg? John is the most helpful in the kitchen but Gregg is always joking – he is one of the wittiest people I have come across. Who is your favourite TV chef and why? Definitely Gordon Ramsay. I absolutely love him. He is straight through the door and honest. What is they strangest thing you have ever put in your mouth? I have put a large live spider in my mouth to win a bet.
