I’m pleasantly surprised by the drama Trust on BBC2 – the true story of the 1973 kidnapping of John Paul Getty III, heir to an oil fortune. This glossy production features stunning locations and Harris Dickinson, left, gives a fine performance as the troubled teen. But what makes it must-see viewing is a large and distinguished cast led by Donald Sutherland as patriarch J. Paul Getty, Hilary Swank as Gail Getty and Brendan Fraser as Getty fixer Chace. This is the standout show of the autumn schedule. John Rutherford, Sevenoaks, Kent
