£180k tag on Armada relic

A TABLE built from the debris of Spanish Armada ships is expected to fetch up to £180,000 at auction.

The 8ft by 3ft oak table was fashioned from the wrecked galleons found at a beach on the west coast of Ireland.

The rare artefact from the ill-fated 1558 fleet goes up for sale in Ireland’s Co Louth on October 16.
