ROY: WILF NOT OUR ONLY DANGER-MAN

- BY TONY BANKS

ROY HODGSON is not worried about Crystal Palace being over-reliant on Wilfried Zaha’s goals.

Palace, who face Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium tonight, have scored only four goals from six Premier League games this season – and three have come from their talisman Zaha (above, right).

Last season Zaha scored nine goals in the Premier league and midfielder Luka Milivojevic struck 10, thanks to seven penalties. But the next Palace man on the list, Christian Benteke, had only three.

Hodgson (above) said: “It’s true Wilf’s got the lion’s share but we haven’t scored many so it’s a small number of goals. “But we have created many chances. “These moments happen in football. You don’t take every chance you create. You’ve got to create quite a lot to get a small number of goals. But as long as you are creating those chances and getting in those positions the goals will come.

“What you do is make certain the players believe in themselves, keep working at their game, and share your belief that if you keep doing that, then we will score goals.”
