Jenna’s Cry is Sunday best

JENNA Coleman landed the second biggest new drama launch of the year with her BBC thriller The Cry.

She pulled in nearly six million viewers on her return to the Beeb after leaving Doctor Who in 2015.

The drama was the most watched show in its 9pm timeslot VIEWERS Jenna Coleman on Sunday, with an average of 5.7million viewers that peaked at 6.3million. The biggest release, Bodyguard, launched with 6.7million viewers. The Cry centres around a missing baby in Australia. Some viewers complained on Twitter they were confused by the “constant flashbacks”.
