Card plea for birthday lad

THE mum of an autistic lad who cannot speak wants strangers to send cards for his 8th birthday.

Bronya Thompson, 30, said wheelchair user Alfie struggles to make friends as he uses sign language.

She added: “Alfie loves cards. It would be amazing to get him a few more he can open on his day.”
