Not all dim up North

The Tories spent £40,000 of our money hiding how rarely the ‘Northern Powerhouse’ minister actually visited the north – as if we didn’t know that already.

Unless there’s an election, they don’t care about anywhere north of Watford. We only ever see the Prime Minister, or any of her ministers, when they want our votes. Then they come up here and promise the earth before slipping back South and forgetting all about it.
