Warriors get new backers
WORCESTER say new owners can catapult them towards the top of the Premiership.
Warriors started the season favourites for the drop and have won only one of their first four games.
But yesterday’s takeover by a four-man consortium – including ex-Sale flanker David Seymour and former Swindon Town chairman Jed McCrory – has injected vitally-needed funds.
Bill Bolsover, chairman of a club which lost £8.1million in the 2016-17 season, said: “We have found long-term owners capable of taking the club to the next level.”
