TOM CARROLL can prove the critics wrong and dominate the land of Championship giants.

The Swansea man, 26, was slammed after they dropped out of the top flight and, at 5ft 10, is small for a modern-day midfielder.

But after making 113 successful passes in the 3-0 win over QPR – a Championship record this term – Swans boss Graham Potter said: “He’s faced some criticism, but Tom is improving. We’re happy with him. I don’t think there are any worries over his quality in this league at all.”
