Kop sing in harmony with Klopp

-

DANIEL STURRIDGE is the poster boy for the strength in depth Liverpool have these days, but more importantly he’s the best example of harmony at the club.

If he was scoring goals like the screamer that earned a draw with Chelsea on Saturday under Brendan Rodgers, you would have been reading one or two “Now play me” articles on these pages this week.

But what Jurgen Klopp has done very well is let everyone know where they stand and even if that means you’re on the bench 90 per cent of the time, then you know that if one of the regular starters dips even five per cent, you’re going to get a chance.

The way Sturridge (left, with Klopp) spoke after the game at Stamford Bridge shows Liverpool’s dressing room is healthy and that everyone is ready to pull their weight when called upon.
