Fergie helped grieving Pret teen parents
THE parents of a teenager who died after an allergic reaction to a Pret baguette have revealed that Sarah Ferguson comforted them.
Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, 15, died on a flight to France in 2016 after buying a roll containing sesame seeds at Heathrow Airport.
Dad Nadim and mum Tanya told Good Morning Britain the Duchess of York was on their flight home to London with her body.
Mrs Ednan-Laperouse said: “She talked to us about Natasha all the way home. She was so lovely.”
The baguette did not have to say it had sesame, as it was made fresh in store. But a coroner said labelling was inadequate.
Environment Secretary Michael Gove is now considering a “Natasha’s law” on food labelling.
