Aged only 23 & diagnosed with dementia

PAIN Jordan faces battle A MAN aged 23 is believed to be the youngest adult in Britain to be diagnosed with dementia.

Jordan Adams has been warned he will develop the condition, as well as Parkinson’s disease.

Doctors say he could lose the ability to walk and talk, and may die in his 50s.

Jordan, from Redditch, Worcs, said: “If there are no advancemen­ts I’ll have a shorter life than most. It’s like a death sentence.”

The entreprene­ur has inherited a gene which causes the conditions.

He has no symptoms at the moment, but got himself tested after his mum was struck down with dementia and died aged 52 in 2016.

Childhood dementia has been diagnosed in kids as young as two.
