OO-HEAVEN Aston Martin JAMES Bond’s Aston Martin DB10 has been voted the most iconic car in TV and film history.

Inspector Morse’s maroon MK II Jag was second, ahead of Dominic Toretto’s Dodge Charger in The Fast and The Furious.

Nearly a third of 1,500 people quizzed by financial services company Zopa admit they daydream about their favourite type of vehicle, with Aston Martin the most popular.

More than two thirds would love a top-of-therange modern car but 21% would like a vintage motor.

Andrew Lawson, of Zopa, said iconic cars on the screen were often more memorable than the characters themselves. “It shows how important cars are to a lot of people.”
