Benny having whale of time

BENNY the beluga whale shows no sign of heading back to the Arctic a week after being spotted in the River Thames.

The 10ft white whale has barely strayed from a two-mile stretch off Tilbury in Essex and Gravesend in Kent.

The Port of London Authority said: “The beluga doesn’t look in distress and appears to be healthy.

“It definitely likes a lie-in as we seem to see it in the afternoon. There are porpoises and seals to keep it company.”
