That’s a sheep drop

RESCUERS harness a stranded sheep as they cross a bridge in what they dubbed their most “epic” animal mission ever.

The sheep was trapped on a narrow ledge near snow-packed Bull Ghyll at Honister Pass, in Cumbria, for three weeks. Volunteers from Cockermouth Mountain Rescue Team, in the Lake District, used cables to lead it to safety.

They said: “Think Indiana Jones and Tomb Raider, crossed with Jumanji, crossed with, er, One Man and His Dog.”
