My plan for plastic

We are hearing more and more about the terrible damage caused to the environment by plastic waste. And then there is another natural disaster with the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia.

Is it possible to press this plastic into prefabricated panels for emergency shelters?

It would be lightweight, rigid, waterproof and flat packed for easy transportation, maybe solving two problems at one time. Paul England Evesham, Worcs
