Jamie just so hardy
JAMIE VARDY is expected to be fit for Leicester’s home clash with Everton on Saturday.
The former England striker scored his third of the season in the 2-0 win at Newcastle but was subbed after lengthy treatment.
The 31-year-old was replaced by Marc Albrighton and has completed 90 minutes only once this term.
But Foxes boss Claude Puel, whose side are eighth, said the decision to sub his talisman, who opened the scoring from the penalty spot, was to protect him.
Vardy has since reported no ill-effects this week.
