SAKO EYEING MOORE GLORY

- BY JAMES NURSEY BY JAMES NURSEY

BAKARY SAKO says he has snubbed Premier League interest to join promotion-chasing West Brom.

High-flying Albion, bossed by Darren Moore, have boosted their squad ahead of a trip to Sheffield Wednesday tonight by snapping up free agent Sako.

The ex-Wolves wideman was a Bosman and was training with Albion after rejecting a new deal with top-flight Crystal Palace this summer.

The Mali international said: “A lot of Premier League clubs wanted me but as soon as I knew Darren wanted to see me I went to see him and we clicked.

“The way he manages players, the way he talks, he’s passionate.”

Moore (above), who adds Sako to an attack also including Dwight Gayle, Jay Rodriguez and Harvey Barnes, said: “He brings great experience and adds greatly to our goal threat.”
