MOWBRAY RUES LATE LEVELLERS

TONY MOWBRAY insists Blackburn are not mentally fragile – despite conceding three late equalisers.

Blackburn have drawn six Championship matches and were pegged back in the final 10 minutes by Ipswich, Aston Villa and, most recently, Nottingham Forest.

But Mowbray said: “It’s not a major issue. Any team, when there’s only one goal in it in the last few minutes, will gamble, send players up and put the ball into your box.

“We did enough to beat Villa, but then a moment of brilliance takes two points away. And we deserved to beat Ipswich.”
