She’s a nice, polite, kind and soft lady... but
LORD Sugar may rule the boardroom but he says wife Ann rules the roost. “She’s a very nice, polite, kind, soft lady,” he smiles. “Apart from when it comes to me.” Asked if he gets in trouble, Lord Sugar laughs: “All the time! For all sorts of things. She always tells me off for looking at my phone.”
He bought the mother of his three children a diamond for their 50th anniversary in April but insists the secret to a long and happy marriage is simple.
“We’re family people. You’ve got to look back to our mothers and fathers. We’re family people like them.” He often discusses his decisions on The Appren with childhood sweetheart Ann, 69.
But there’s one thing about the show that irks Lady Sugar. “She doesn’t like when the ladies are screaming and shouting at each other,” he says.
