‘Rising risk’ of recession

THERE is a growing threat of another global recession within the next two years, experts warn.

Factors including President Donald Trump’s trade war with China, an overheated stock market and rising interest rates all threaten new pain, a report out today says.

It also highlighted unrest in the eurozone.

Kay Neufeld, of the Centre for Economics and Business Research, said: “A global recession could be more difficult to resolve than its predecessors.”
