PRINCESS Eugenie’s lavish wedding will include performances by star tenor Andrea Bocelli and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, say aides.

Already critics are lining up to blast the cash being blown on the 28-year-old second tier royal and her nuptials to tequila ambassador Jack Brooksbank, 32.

The Mirror has revealed taxpayers are shelling out £2million so the couple can ride in an open top carriage at Windsor.

But critics will argue, if the royals had reined back on the extravagant ceremony, they could have afforded this security bill, instead of raiding public funds. The latest big day luxuries also include a fanfare by State Trumpeters and music from Scottish pipers as the couple set off in their open top carriage through Windsor on Friday.

Graham Smith, of anti-monarchy group Republic, said: “Royals think a few hours of royal engagements is hard work and public money is there to be spent on weddings.

“Why should we continue to allow them to represent us? It’s embarrassing.”

Eugenie, the youngest daughter of

Prince Andrew and ninth in line to the throne, has no royal duties but Eugenie’s father and mother, Sarah Ferguson, insisted she must have “the best of the best”. Senior members of the Royal Family including the Queen, Duke of Edinburgh, the “fab four” of Wills, Kate, Harry and Meghan are on the 850strong guest list – so huge that organisers have had to install extra seats at St George’s chapel.

But the Duchess of Cornwall won’t be going. Camilla, 71, is attending a school harvest festival near her home in Scotrevealed land instead. A palace source denied it was a snub.

A-list stars who will enjoy a £1,000 wedding cake are said to include Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Robbie Williams and George and Amal Clooney.

Around 1,200 members of the public were selected by a ballot after 100,000 applied for a spot in the Castle grounds.

Italian singer-songwriter Bocelli – who performed at Leicester City’s football ground following their Premier League title win in 2016 – will sing two pieces during the service.

A petition by Republic to block public funds from being used has gained more than 35,000 signatures in the last week.
