Carjack man fights for life

A DRIVER of 22 knifed in an attempted carjacking is critically ill in hospital.

The man and a pal had been chased to an alley by two thugs who had demanded his car keys.

The motorist was rushed to hospital after the attack at 6.30am yesterday in Selly Oak, Birmingham.

Police asked for help from the public in tracking down the suspects, two black males.

Insp Jonathan Kiteley said they needed to “take these dangerous individuals off the street”.
