Mum’s death probed again

THE death of a British mother found near her home in Italy with 10 knife wounds to her neck six years ago is to be reopened.

Italian police originally decided Claire Martin, 30, killed herself in March 2012 after suffering postnatal depression.

Her parents, of Suttonin-Ashfield, Notts, say new evidence was discovered about her death in Grottaminarda, near Naples.

Dad Ray said: “Hair fibre and skin were found under my daughter’s nails.”
