MORGAN: WISE UP REF

WES MORGAN has blasted snowflake strikers who make a meal of honest challenges.

The Leicester skipper was sent off (below) for the second time in weeks after Everton forward Richarlison went crashing to ground following a foul in the 64th minute.

The big defender believes officials need to get cuter to the those guilty of theatrics.

Morgan said: “The referee made his decision off the reaction of the player.

“I know there were a few challenges where the reactions of the player and their bench definitely dictated the decisions of the ref.

“If the players are going down screaming the referees shouldn’t buy into that.” Morgan added: “Maybe the game is changing so you can’t even have any contact whatsoever.

“It’s disappointing because I felt there was only one team that was going to go on and win it but the sending off was a turning point and it was always going to be an uphill battle from there.”
