No goals but Giroud stars

-

I’M one of Olivier Giroud’s biggest critics – but he put in a shift against Southampton and did well.

He won a World Cup without scoring goals and he has helped Chelsea to a very good start to the season without scoring goals.

But while he isn’t finding the back of the net, Giroud is ticking every other box a manager would want.

And I’d imagine Maurizio Sarri will stick with him against Manchester United next time out rather than Alvaro Morata, who has two goals in his last two games.
