Mount chance a fine thing

IT’S great to see Mason Mount, Jadon Sancho and Lewis Dunk getting a chance with England.

Mount (left) has started well for Derby, Sancho likewise for Borussia Dortmund, and Dunk kept a clean sheet for Brighton on Friday against the world’s best player, Marko Arnautovic, so that’s probably why he got in the squad.

I love the fact there will be young Englishmen playing for unfashionable clubs looking at this squad and thinking, ‘I have a chance of a call-up, a chance to get in this team next time there’s a get-together’.
