Rose: Ugly ain’t a sin

DANNY ROSE says Spurs should continue winning ugly instead of risking their title hopes by playing sexy football.

The Londoners ground out a 1-0 win over Cardiff on Saturday which saw them match their best-ever start to a Premier League season. And Rose said: “It’s a great sign – I’d rather win ugly than lose playing brilliant football. Points are all that matter right now. Hopefully soon enough the performances will come.”
