Milk first or tea?

-

We Brits love our brews, but we like debating how to make the perfect cuppa just as much.

Royal butler Grant Harold has attempted to put an end to the dispute. He explained that since the 18th century, the “proper” way of brewing the national beverage has been tea before milk, a rule which the Queen herself follows.

He went on: “I am sure the Queen enjoys her Assam or her Earl Grey the traditional way, made with tea leaves in a teapot and poured into a fine bone china teacup.”
