TWO alleged Islamic State killers must not return to battle, senior judges heard.

British-raised El Shafee Elsheikh and Alexanda Kotey were caught in Syria.

Elsheikh’s mother, Maha Elgizouli, is challenging evidence sharing with the US without a vow they will not face execution there.

But James Eadie QC told the High Court: “Whatever options might be on the table, [release] back on to the battlefield is one thoroughly not to be desired.” A ruling is expected soon.
